This role focuses on assisting in the promotion and positioning of HowToo products and services, with the intention to attract more customers and raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns. Helping craft  HowToo communications through strategic campaigns, targeted audiences, the creation of acquisition funnels, and use of email, social media, website and other platforms.

Job responsibilities



  • Work alongside Head of Marketing to build marketing campaigns plans to attract & retain customers
  • Briefing graphic designers on advertising and digital assets.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns through reporting / analysis and suggest improvements to maximise ROI.
  • Monthly reporting on all marketing and business KPI’s. Making recommendations and suggestions for improvement
  • Creating social media calendars and scheduling posts  

CRM Management

  • Ongoing management of contract data in CRM platform - Hubspot.
  • Creating email automation workflows


  • Researching and writing long form content for weekly blogs, newsletters, press releases  and ebooks.
  • Writing short and creative headline copy for landing pages and advertising



  • Manage events calendar for in-person and online events targeting current customers, brand ambassadors, and prospect customers.
  • Run post-event reports to optimise for success
  • Identify and onboard new brand ambassadors

Social media

  • Manage all social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and other relevant platforms
  • Create and execute the content plan schedule for HowToo marketing activity across organic & paid social channels
  • Deliver all execution for social media including scheduling, posting & reporting

Retention analytics

  • Deep dive into customer retention metrics and provide insights
  • Identify upsell opportunities for sales
  • Gather and share customer feedback regularly
  • Support the Product team in automating retention email communications
  • Reporting on retention and customer activity metrics monthly

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Passion for marketing and love of community and relationship building
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Marketing Automation tools or email software, such as Hubspot
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as Google suite, Semrush, Hotjar
  • Willingness to work in fast paced start-up team environment
  • Proactive and uses initiative to come up with new ideas and creative solutions
  • Good time management skills
  • Keen to learn and grow in the role
